Cold-rated torsion spring replacement, sized to the door and wound to specification.
Standard torsion springs lose flexibility below freezing, which is why they let go on the coldest mornings in Warren, Canton, and Akron rather than in July. We replace them with cold-rated springs sized to the door's measured weight, wind them to the specified turns, and check cable tension on both sides before the door is cycled. Both springs on a two-spring door are replaced together, and the spring size is recorded so future service starts from known numbers.
