Garage Door Maintenance & Tune-Up
A pre-winter tune-up that sets the door up for six months of snow, salt, and sub-zero mornings.
The right time to service an Ohio garage door is October, before the first lake-effect snow and before standard lubricants thicken in the cold. A tune-up scheduled through any of our locations covers low-temperature lubrication of rollers, hinges, and springs, torque checks on every fastener, cable and drum inspection, and a balance test with the opener disengaged. Threshold and perimeter seals are checked for gaps that let drafts and drifting snow into the garage, and the readings are logged for comparison next year.
